Addressing the nations Energy Needs

It's amazing how easily Mr Rudd and his 07 revolution have duped the public. With their large, headline gathering announcements and their future plans and investigation committees, but when it comes to actually doing anything productive, they debate, hold think tanks and summits, then stall for a period and then formulate plans and policy that don't address core problems. If your having a heart attack, its no help giving the patient a towel to wipe off the sweat. In a country where we are facing massive energy and water shortages, the feds are doing nothing but commisioning expensive reports and cuting back on vital funding to promote modern technological development to move into a greener energy producing future.

Vishy! How come you've stopped updating your blog regularly? I enjoyed reading your previous posts and hope you continue to keep up the good work!

It's a shame that you think the current government has failed to address some of the issues that are relevant to Australia; I don't exactly know lots about politics, haha, but surely change takes time, especially if you are making the transition from the Howard government (which was around for AGES!) to the current one (which is at the opposite end of the spectrum!). The Howard government was in power for over 10 years, and it took many years for many of their policies (is that the correct term?) to be successfully implemented. Rudd and the ALP have had the reigns for only a year now which is pretty short in the scheme of things, esp considering that many of their proposed changes will take years to come into effect. Hopefully we'll see the changes that you mentioned in your post sometime soon in the future. :)

OK, I have no idea what I just wrote, haha! Just curious Vishy, who did you vote for in the election last year?

Keep blogging and enjoy your holidays! ;)
